Ukiyo Sushi
Stockholm
Restaurant
Photography Mikael Lundblad
Situated in a corner location, with striking windows that flood the interior with natural light, Stockholm sushi restaurant Ukiyo Sushi occupies a compact 40-square-metre space. The walls, floors and ceilings, all finished in a paired-down eggshell-coloured plaster, accentuate the venue's monochrome aesthetic.
Lindvall furnished the space with birch wood pieces from Massproductions that bring warmth and softness to the space. A large organically shaped communal table in the middle of the room is flanked by high and low seating along the windows and at the rear. The large fish lamp from LZF Lamps is a notable centrepiece that crowns the room.
