The Sun Deck

Designed as an elevated viewing point of the Stockholm archipelago, a Corten steel platform is placed on a bare hillock, using the topology of the ridge to dictate the irregular shape of the structure.

Like a carefully positioned installation or site-specific sculpture, and devoid of railings, the Sun Deck challenges the user’s perception of oneself in relation to the natural landscape.
