The Garden House

Situated on a private woodland plot near Stockholm, the Garden House was constructed using concrete, Corten steel and glass to mimic the hues and textures of its natural surroundings.

A 10 m long horisontal concrete ledge with an angled Corten steel front – featuring antique copper wheel faucet handles above two sinks and a built-in outdoor grill – passes through a slanted cubic glass structure, to connect the inside with the outside. Nature’s patina is anticipated, even welcomed, making it more handsome over time.
