Skepparstigen

Situated atop a cliff in Saltsjöbaden and offering sweeping views of Baggen’s bay and the Stockholm archipelago, Skepparstigen is a striking residential project that seamlessly integrates with its rugged surroundings. The concrete structure, with two wings extending from a central body, serves as a serene retreat, harmonising with the natural landscape.

Inside, the minimalist aesthetic is enhanced by wide oak plank floors and a cohesive, monochromatic colour scheme that directs attention to the panoramic views. A standout feature is the 4.5-metre-long kitchen island, clad in sandblasted limestone from Gotland, paired with solid stainless steel countertops – all custom-designed by Lindvall. The bathrooms continue this theme of refined simplicity, with lime plaster walls and ceilings complemented by limestone flooring, contributing to the home’s cohesive and tranquil atmosphere.
